The COVID-19 pandemic transformed my life forever. Witnessing mass cremations of bodies with no one to care for them deeply touched my heart. The sight of people dying alone, with their relatives too fearful to approach them, created heart-breaking scenes that I could not ignore.
During my own battle with COVID-19 in 2021, I made a commitment that would define my life's purpose: to perform the last rites of those who had no one to care for them and to serve the most vulnerable in our society.
