A Journey Born from Compassion
The COVID-19 pandemic transformed the life of founder J Tharun Kumar. Witnessing mass cremations of bodies with no one to care for them deeply touched his heart.
During his own battle with COVID-19 in 2021, he made a commitment to perform the last rites of those who had no one to care for them and to serve the most vulnerable in society.
Today DEVA Social Service operates across 9 districts, reaching tribal areas, PVTG regions, and border communities — providing dignity where society has often looked away.
